50 questions from General Ability were taken from the 1st shift and asked in the 2nd shift as is!

2’d Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-lI) for CEN No. 03/2024 for various Posts of JE, DMS, CMA etc. had been conducted on 22.04.2025 in 2(two) shifts. The exam was conducted RRB wise in two groups, the candidates of one group RRBs appeared in the exam in shift-1 and the candidates of the other group appeared in shift-2.
It has come to the notice of RRB that some questions of shift-1 got repeated in shift-2 of CBT-2 due to some inadvertent errors occurred in the software system.
RRBs follow a system to ensure highest standard of confidentiality in creation, processing, maintenance, storage, encryption and administration of question sets. And ensure zero human intervention in question paper setting and transmission to exam centers. This has been done through software-based methodology.
It has come to the notice that some questions got repeated from 15t shift to 20d shift due to technical error in the software system and exam conducted on 2d shift got affected.
In view of the above, the exam held on 2nd shift of 22.04.2025 is cancelled and the same exam will be rescheduled in near future.
RRBs take all possible measures to ensure fairness and transparency in the recruitment process and the above mistake is deeply regretted for causing inconvenience to the candidates.
The rescheduled date for the CBT-ll for the affected candidates will be intimated in due course.
Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
