After the launch of Map of Pi, the first official decentralized app in the ecosystem, now the second dApp has also been added. This blog post will introduce you to this new app and guide you on how to use it to earn more Pi coins.

How to Access the ‘Fruity Pi’ Application
To access the new app:
- Open your Pi Browser.
- On the homepage, you will see several options like Fireside Wallet, Brenster, Mind BlockChain, KYC, Chat, and Profile.
- Ignore those for now.
- To access the decentralized apps (dApps) section, click on “Explore the Ecosystem.”
Here, you’ll find applications like Map of Pi and now the newly added Fruity Pi!
If you are a vendor or merchant, you can also register with Map Pi via the ecosystem.
Introducing Fruity Pi – A Fun Way to Earn More Pi!
Fruity Pi is the second verified application in the Pi Network ecosystem. It is a gaming application that allows users to earn more Pi coins while having fun.
How to Play Fruity Pi
Once you open Fruity Pi:
- Click Open App.
- You will see three modes:
- Fruit Mode
- Salad Mode
- Polling Mode
Let’s focus on Fruit Mode for now:
- Click on Play Starter.
- Random fruits will appear on the screen inside boxes.
- Your task is to match similar fruits together by dropping them side by side.
- Once matched, they will disappear, and your score will increase.
- Keep matching fruits while making sure the stacked fruits do not reach the top red line — if they do, the game will be over.
- The goal is to maximize your score and Pi points!
Important:
- After each game session, your collected points will be converted into iPoints.
- iPoints can potentially be transferred or redeemed later inside the Pi ecosystem.
Important Tips to Win
- Match fruits quickly and smartly.
- Prevent fruits from stacking too high.
- Keep an eye on combos to boost your score even faster.
- Focus on making continuous matches to stay longer in the game.
After the Game
Once your game ends:
- A message will pop up asking you to Share Information with Pi — click Allow.
- You might see some ads — you can skip them after a few seconds.
- Your score will be visible, and your earnings will be stored in your account.
As of now, Fruity Pi is mainly for fun and minor Pi rewards, but in the future, its utility might grow even more.
